Motherboards equiped with a mini-pci slot can make use of a mini-pci wi-fi card to enable a wireless internet/network connection. This mini-pci card should be used in combination with a wi-fi antenne which is usually supplied with the card. Mini-pci tv tuner cards are also available on the market.
